Peptica C4 Columns

C4 phases are typically employed for larger peptides and proteins with molecular weights above about 15,000 dalton. However, many chromatographers use C4 phases for alternate selectivity or to obtain shorter retention of smaller peptides.

Peptica
C4-A

Bonded on 300‰, this phase uses an exclusive pH stable chemistry. Good peak shape and stability even at high pH are the hallmarks of this column. It is an excellent choice for large proteins under any conditions.

Conditions
Eluent: A: 5% ACN/0.1%TFA; 50% ACN/0.1%TFA/td>
Gradient: 0% B to 100% B over 20 min
Flow: 1.5mL/min
Detection: UV @ 220nm
Sample: 1. His-Phe; 2. Vasopressin; 3. Phe-Gly-Gly-Phe; 4. Angiotensin-II; 5. Ribonuclease; 6. Insuling; 7. Carbonic Anhydrase

Peptica
C4-B

Bonded on 300‰ silica, this product uses the same Diazem precap used in the Peptica C18-B which gives this phase very clean peak shapes and no ghosting even on the most difficult proteins. The large pore diameter allows for chromatography of high molecular weight analytes.
