Pfarma HPLC Columns

The Pfarma product line is designed to address the unique separation challenges encountered in pharmaceutical product development and discovery. Pfarma C18-B and C8-B are versatile HPLC columns for a broad range of compound classes. Excellent performance on difficult analytes is a standard for Diazem Pfarma columns. Both Pfarma columns are bonded with a proprietary pre-cap that augments these high load phases to give excellent performance on a wide range of difficult pharmaceutical analytes.

Pfarma C18-B was used in this example to separate neurotransmitters which are very hydrophilic and basic. These analytes show good retention and excellent peak shape on the Pfarma C18-B.

Eluent:	A: 0.02M H₃PO₄, 0.005M Pentane Sulfonate;
Gradient:	1% to 30% MeOH in 30 min
Flow:	1.5mL/min
Detection:	UV @ 230nm

Pfarma C8-B performs admirably on this difficult anesthetic test set where other C8 and C18 columns gave only poor peak shape on this set of analytes.
